This three-week class discusses traditional and independent publishing in depth. The segment on traditional publishing will cover query letters, finding agents and publishers, the value proposition for small press, and author responsibilities. The segment on independent publishing will cover book content, formatting, tools (Amazon, Ingram Sparks, vellum, scrivener), and distribution channels. The final segment on book marketing will cover social media, advertising, and discoverability.
