Description

After spending so much time with your own work, getting fresh eyes on a piece of writing is a priceless opportunity. Each led by a trained facilitator, Seven Bridge critique groups bring together experienced writers looking to learn from one another by trading constructive feedback on our work. Interrogating what sings and what needs development in others’ writing will prepare us to revisit our own. Critique groups come together monthly for verbal sharing and feedback, with deadlines for submitting work and providing written comments taking place outside of the sessions.

This class will meet using Zoom or at the Littleton Library.

My name is Bob Ainsworth. I live in Marlboro and am a retired financial executive. I loved mysteries as a kid, reading every ‘Perry Mason’ book by Earl Stanley Gardner.
Five years ago, an idea to give speeches to business groups about avoiding fraud morphed into creating a fraud detective character to solve financial crimes. I wrote my first book while commuting, and have since completed four novels featuring Harry Bartlett as the main character. The first one, CONNED, has just been self-published under Robert J. Ainsworth, Jr. Others will be out soon. Seven Bridge’s courses and writing groups have advanced my writing skills. My goal on the Board is to continue those efforts so others can benefit as I did.
