About Us

We are a small but growing writing organization in Central Massachusetts.

Seven Bridge Writers’ Collaborative is run by writers. We understand and are committed to the writers of central Massachusetts and beyond. We are in-person and online working to create a diverse and vibrant shared story. We celebrate authors with something to say, encourage untapped voices, and believe that we can support the successful writer in this era and market by providing: space for new, growing, and accomplished writers to write, explore and learn; opportunity for writers to understand the market, the publishing world, and their place in it; and community for writers and the public to interact, share, and deepen connections.

UPCOMING CLASSES

The fall session begins registration on a first-come, first serve basis on August 22nd, 2022. This year we are excited to offer a full range of classes including prompt groups, critique groups, classes, workshops, and open mics. Over the last eight years, we’ve offered the vast majority of our classes for free. This year, in order to help us grow and to pay our teachers for the first time, we are charging a modest fee for our courses. We hope you’ll understand this change in policy and support our decision to grow and to compensate our teachers fairly. Even with this change in pricing, we still fully believe SBWC offers the most economical writing instruction in central Massachusetts.

OPTIONAL ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

We are also offering optional membership for the first time. If you sign-up to become a member for a cost of $50, you will receive a discount of $50 on up to two fall classes: Fiction Essentials and Short Story Writing. In the winter and Spring, we will be expanding the list of classes which are discounted, making membership even more attractive.
